This minimalistic formula incorporates behentrimonium chloride, a commonly used conditioning agents, which provides a conditioning, slip and detangling effect, resulting in hair that doesn’t feel (or look) weighed down.
Product Objectives:
- To introduce a minimalistic approach to conditioning that prioritises smoothness, slip, and detangling effects.
- To provide the optimal balance between sensorial and lightweight properties, resulting in healthy looking manageable, and detangled hair that is not weighed down by bulky ingredients.

Excellent for my hair
I have thin)wavy hair, used first time at my daughter's and my hair never felt so nice. I only need a little to have super hydrated hair, my hair looks shiny and not frizzy for the first time in ages. Thank you Ordinary!

Will buy again
Bought this product from a store in my town many months ago and once I finished the bottle, I switched to Redken because the Ordinary one kept being out of stock there. The Redken one is actually leaving my hair much drier now and it costs twice!
I didn't notice at first the huge difference this conditioner had on my hair since it was kinda short when I started using it and now it's much longer. It leaves a smooth touch after rinsing and the hair is also easy to brush without after products. (I use a leave-in conditioner and oil for the ends) Will buy again once i find it on my store.
That said, it's a 4 star review because I don't like the bottle. Not easy to squeeze and due to its consistency, I need to flip it up-side down which makes it very unstable, water gets inside the bottle cap (its very easy to unscrew it so water might even get in the conditioner) and by the end, the product is in the far corners, so to take it out, I need to mix water. Not a fan of the bottle here. Maybe a wider bottle cap would solve some issues here.

Creates a magical slip, making detangling a breeze. Never weighs down my fine curls. I rarely by a conditioner more than once but I buy this over and over!

Brilliant for fine curls and sensitive scalp
I bought this when it first came out, back then I had very long, thick, curly hair. I thought it was a pretty decent conditioner back then, but not moisturising enough for my very frazzled and dry ends so I put it in the cupboard and forgot about it. Flash forward to january 2024 when I developed Telogen Effluvium due to extreme stress and health issues. My hair was falling out in chunks and I decided to get a curly pixie cut to disguise the thin patches. During this time my scalp also became very dry and sensitive. I still need to use conditioner even though my hair is short becasue of my very porous curls, but i didn't want all those heavy, highly scented conditioners sitting so close to my scalp because it was now so sensitive. I reached for the Ordinary conditioner because it was unscented and I'm so glad I did!! It doesn't upset my scalp in any way and it makes my curls so shiny and smooth but springy nad not weighed down at all. I am in love with this conditioner now!!

I've ordered this over and over
Love this product. It is the best conditioner I've found to not weigh down my super fine long, wavy hair. It makes brushing easy. No fragrence which is great because fragrance gives me migraines. Perfect conditioner, needs a liter option or refillable packaging. I hate throwing out so many plastic containers

Excellent for my fine, wavy, static-prone hair.
I've gone through a few bottles so far as I love it. The product itself is wonderful for me as someone sensitive to fragrance.
I have fine, wavy hair and this product works perfectly for me. I'm prone to oiliness, and this seems to help a lot on days when I use conditioner only and no shampoo.
The only things I would like to change that make this 4* instead of 5* for me is the bottle. The bottle doesn't stand upside down easily, so it can be difficult to get all the product out. I also wish there was a larger size available.
