Slipsilk™ is specially-commissioned and made to exacting standards, developed and refined over ten years to provide the ultimate combination of shine, thickness, softness and durability. Slip™ use the highest grade (6A) long fibre mulberry silk, with a thickness of 22 momme and enforce the strictest quality guidelines, including non-toxic dyes.

Worth the hype.
I was deliberating buying these for months, because of the cost - but I am so glad I did. They are great strong hair ties, that don't pull or tangle your hair. I also always have a hair tie on my wrist, and its quite nice to have one that doesn't cut/ dig into your skin.
