Amazing scent but doesn't last
Despite the undeniable beauty of its scent, I couldn't help but feel disappointed by its longevity. For a perfume with such a hefty price tag, one would expect a lingering presence that lasts throughout the day. Unfortunately, this doesn't happen with Scarlet Poppy.

Intoxicating
This is the first time I have ever been urged to write a review, despite wearing perfumes for the last 25 years. I was in Miami and passed by a Jo Malone store, trying many many scents. When I came to Scarlet Poppy - I fell in love instantly!! This scent is absolutely intoxicating. I bought 2 bottles and now keep one in my bedroom and one in my office. If it doesn't last that long on some - I suggest buying the smaller bottle, and just keeping it in several places. The incredible scent more than makes up for any lack of longevity (for me that's not the case by the way - it lasts a regular amount of time). It is so hard to find a scent in this scent family that is not overly sweet or cloying or annoying. Please never discontinue as I will buy this forever!

I was longing for this scent my whole life
It's a scent I've been looking for forever. It's something I had in the back of my head ( or nose) for years but I couldn't find it anywhere. This was only in my fragrant dreams until I found this masterpiece! It's absolutely perfect! It smells like the end of the hot, summer day when the sun sets down over the field of ripe wheat. It was a very hot day and now dust flies in the dry air. The ripe wheat intertwines with red poppies and vines of sweet bean blossom. It reminds me of the time before the harvest when everything is almost ready to be picked up. It smells like my childhood memory. This is a memory in the bottle! Thank you!

This product smells gorgeous but does not last. I had for Mother's Day and worn twice, each time after an hour it's gone. For an expensive Purfume it's very disappointing. I'd think twice before purchasing....

Best one yet
I am a life long Jo Malone user. Wild bluebell and peony and blush were my go to. However, when scarlet poppy came out it was a game changer. I receive so many comp it, which is every day. Those who say it does not last are incorrect. If you can personally smell your scent all day then you are applying to much.

I LOVE this new scent!
I purchased Scarlet Poppy as a Christmas present for myself and proceeded to wear it every single day during my holiday vacation! I tend to like scents that are floral without being "flowery" - I like them to have a darkness or depth to them (i.e. Velvet Rose and Oud, Wood Sage and Sea Salt), and Scarlet Poppy has a lovely sweetness that isn't cloying.

New signature scent
Purchased this as a gift to self on my way home from a recent holiday (Dubai airport). My previous fav was Dark Amber but was looking for something new. I left it beautifully wrapped under the tree for Christmas. This is creamy, warming, and lingers well. Not sure about the reviews saying it doesn't last! I've had so many lovely comments since starting to wear. Not the cheapest but I do like to have one or two "go to" scents and this is now at the top of the list.
