Directions
From soft-focus blurred to more defined matte-blurred sophisticated lips, the new Rouge Interdit Cream Velvet allows you to create your own look.
TIPS
For a defined look, use the inner part of the applicator to fill in your lips and then contour using the tip of the applicator.
For a soft blurry makeup effect, apply a small amount of Le Rouge Interdit Cream Velvet and dab gently onto your lips.

Very creamy!

Not long wear
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The color is beautiful and it applies very soft but it will not stay on! It transferred when I tested it gently on my hands, then when I had a drink of water, and almost completely after I had a snack. I'd say there are better reds out there!

Creamy luxury for the lips!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This leaves a really beautiful finish and feel on my lips and feels so pillowy and soft making it very comfortable to wear. Not tight or drying at all like a lot of matte lipsticks I've tried. It really is velvety, both in look and feel. It's sheer but not patchy, and the colour is build able.

Goes on nice!

It is a nice light/neutral color which makes it nice for an every day look for work or out on the town. It didn't last the whole day though, I did have to reapply twice.

Great color, but not long lasting
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think this color is divine! Unfortunately, it doesn't last too long and starts the fade and wear off after a couple of hours. It is easy to apply, but of course you need to keep a mirror handy. Soft on the lips!

Very comfortable
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoyed this lipstick. I don't typically enjoy a liquid lipstick. But this was very comfortable and stayed for a long time. I think the velvet description is perfect. They mentioned that the product has a 12- hour wear, I think this is a bit of a stretch. I had to reapply after eating but it still lasted a few hours and faded naturally.

Smooth Comfortable Formula
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me start by saying that I am usually not a fan of matte lipstick. I can think of ONE formula that I can wore with confidence and enjoyment before trying this. Now, let me say that I absolutely love this lipstick! It goes on smooth, lasts really well and is one of the most comfortable matte formulas I've tried. It really does have that balm like feel to it and for a matte lipstick is quite comfortable. I wouldn't say my lips felt more hydrated but they didn't feel completely depleted of moisture after wearing like they usually do. My one issue is the applicator. The ball shaped tip makes it hard To get a precise line (which I prefer) and the flocked texture and hourglass shape lends itself to a heavier, less sharp application of product at the outer and inner area and less at the middle of the lip. It's easy to smooth out, and a lip liner would really help, but it's a bit disappointing (especially at this price point). I've already added a shade to my wishlist though, so obviously it's not a deal breaker (but please do a redesign, Givenchy!).

Velvet silk lips
