This mattifying, skin-perfecting putty primer has a velvety texture that glides effortlessly over the skin smoothing over imperfections. Infused with kaolin clay and white charcoal to help absorb excess oil and grip makeup for all-day wear. The result? A smooth, poreless, shine-free, matte complexion.
Directions
Apply a thin, even amount to clean, moisturized skin prior to makeup application. Allow to set for 30 seconds before applying foundation.

Good product
I have very oily and shiny skin. I was hoping this would help. I used it and used a powder foundation and blush with it. I had about 5-6 hours before any shine came back which I thought was pretty good. Would recommend!

I pair this primer with the poreless one, and I specifically use this matte one in targeted areas that are excessively oily, like on my forehead and around my nose. I think this primer works best for me as a spot treatment for target areas rather than your whole face. Also, because of the clay ingredient that lends the primer its mattifying effect, it takes a little more blending out than usual to make sure you don't have any white clay residue visible. Other than that, I find that it performs well and does the job.

It works.
Bought this and it does help mattify for a while then my face is a greaseball after 9 hours or so. But it helps.

This primer is amazing. I got it for homecoming, and usually, oil ends up making my makeup come off, but this kept it on for hours while I was dancing, and at the end, it was still on, and it wasn’t shiny or oily at all

Great primer for oily skin
Very easy to use, mattifies on contact without looking chalky or dry (more of a natural matte finish) and it indeed helps makeup stay looking fresh-er and touch-ups be more effective. Zero breakouts. Its not a silver bullet against oiliness, you need to have the rest of your routine work to keep that in check, but it does help in a significant way. I will be repurchasing for sure. So far I like it more than the Danessa Myricks balm (that one is even less matte, its more balmy. )
