Directions
On clean skin, blend pea-sized amount of retinoid serum onto your face and neck at night, when skin is the most receptive to renewal.
Note: the amber colour of the formula is a naturally occurring hue due to the potency of the retinoid complex. It will blend into the skin after application.
If new to retinoids, use every 2 days and build up usage overtime. Use SPF during the day.

Works but not for sensitive skin
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to like this product and overall didn’t have many issues I just felt like for my sensitive skin, it was a little bit irritating to my face. I used it pretty consistently, and did see results, but had to take a break so my face could feel better.

Great skincare
I received a sample and proceeded to buy a full size because I really enjoyed it. I feel like insee a difference in the appearance of my skin since starting. It looks brighter and smoother. I also have sensitive skin issues and it did not break me out.

Worth it
I'd like to first disclose I do not have many skin problems luckily but I do have dry skin issues and at 24, worry lines. I am new to skin care and bought a bunch of elf products to get started. I've been using a routine, morning and night, for a little over a week now and definitely am starting to see results. The retinoid has cleared up my worry lines already! Theyre obviously not completely gone but noticeably better! I am very pleased with this product as that's what I bought it for. I have heard stories about "purging" and "retinoid uglies" but am lucky to not have experienced either of those! For the price I'd say it's definitely worth it!
P.s. yes the orange tint does not stay orange once rubbed into your face

I received a free sample of the new e.l.f. Youth Boosting Advanced Night Retinoid Serum and have been using it every other night as part of my skincare routine… The serum claims to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles while hydrating the skin. It has a deep yellow color that the packaging says is normal for the product, thankfully it doesn’t stain or leave a visible film on your face. I found that this serum absorbed nicely and worked well under my moisturizer. As for the results of using this product consistently, I did notice that my complexion was brighter and I didn’t have as many breakouts as I usually do. I didn’t have any bad reactions or dryness as a result of consistently using this serum. As for the effects on my fine lines, there was a slight improvement, albeit a subtle one. I think I would need more time to truly see drastic results. It definitely exceeded my expectations though, especially considering how affordable it is. If you’re new to retinol and want a gentle and effective product for your nightly routine, I think this is worth a try.
