Directions
Apply the honey like balm on skin, avoiding the eye area. Massage skin to gently dissolve makeup and nourish skin. Rinse with water. On dry skin, apply the honey like balm all over the face and massage until it turns into oil. To gently dissolve makeup and impurities. Just a lovely experience
I initially purchased the milky cleanser and received a sample of this balm and fell in love with it. Immediately purchased the large size. The scent and consistency are perfect. It makes the experience of cleaning my face so pleasant, I don't plan on being without it and am going to try other Darphin products thar]t are rosacea friendly. I also love the milky cleanser.

Smells and feels amazing
I've used this product for about a year now, and it successfully got me through another New Hampshire winter. It smells amazing and feels really soothing. A little goes a long way. You put it on dry skin, rub it all in, and then rinse. Note: although Darphin claims you should rinse with lukewarm water, I find I must use very warm to hot water to dissolve it. Also, Darphin says not to use it on your eyes, but my eyes are really sensitive and I use it on them all the time, so maybe they just didn't test it on eyes. If you put on too much, it takes forever to rinse off. If you don't want to use very warm water on your face, don't buy this product. Otherwise, it's awesome; I highly recommend it.

I received this as a sample to try. Was worried it might be oily but it is not at all. A gentle but effective cleanser which smells so good. Makes me feel like I am at a spa.

Very disappointed.
I have been using this product for years but I just started this new jar (either a bad batch or the winning formula has been changed): it used to rinse off like a dream without the use of a flannel or rubbing furiously. Now the product sits on my face like an oil slick that never rinses. I have to actually wash it off with another product which is totally counter productive as my skin is quite sensitive. Has the formula been changed for that product?

The only good thing about is the smell
Honestly, I had so much expectations for this product as a "winter" cleanse and it doesn't do anything - doesn't remove makeup, very difficult to wash off the skin because it just sits there as a white milky substance. I wish it was not a lockdown and I bought it in store so it would be easier to return. Highly not recommend this product.
